Year Verse: Romans 4:19-21 NIV: Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what He had promised.

Monthly verses will be focusing on “so that” verses:

January: Joshua 1:8: This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.

April: 1 Corinthians 9:27: I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.

May: 2 Corinthians 2:11: [I forgave] so that no advantage would be taken of us by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes.

June: 2 Corinthians 5:21: He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

July: 2 Corinthians 8:9: For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.

August: 2 Corinthians 12:9: And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

September: 2 Timothy 3:16-17: All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

October: Hebrews 2:1: For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it.

November: Hebrews 13:5b-6 – He Himself has said, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you,” so that we confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid.”
