Year Verse – Colossians 4:3-4 NLT: Pray…that God will give us many opportuni-ties to speak about His mysterious plan concern-ing Christ… Pray that I will proclaim this message as clearly as I should.

In light of our Year Verse, our monthly verses will contain some verses that would be good to know as we have opportunities to share about Jesus with others.

January – John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

February: Romans 3:23; 6:23 – For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God… For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

March: Proverbs 14:12; – There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. [MSG: There’s a way of life that looks harmless enough; look again—it leads straight to hell.]

April: Jeremiah 16:17 – For My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from My face, nor is their iniquity concealed from My eyes.

May: Romans 14:12 – So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.

June: Romans 2:5 – But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God.

July: Romans 5:8 – But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
[NLT: But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die
for us while we were still sinners.]

August: Luke 24:45-47 – [Jesus] said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and rise again from the dead the third day; and that repentance for forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in His name…”

September: Ephesians 2:8-9: For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

October: John 14:6: Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”

November: John 14:15: [Jesus said], “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.” Bonus Verse: 1 John 2:3-4: By this we know that we have come to know Him, if wee keep His commandments. The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

December: Revelation 20:15: And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
